GLOSSARY

Pronounced “tas-KAH” (тоска). A Russian word used to describe feelings of sadness and hopelessness because of yearning for something unattainable. Related to, but not directly translated to, “anguish,” “heartache,” “yearning,” “longing,” and “weariness.” A “soul-deep ache.”
