Sociopathy

GLOSSARY

An individual difference consisting of a certain genotype, physiotype, and personality that renders and individual capable of experiencing secondary, “social” emotions that normally contribute to behavioural motivation and inhibition. Contrast with psychopathy and more broadly, Machiavellianism.
