Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

GLOSSARY

An affective disorder which is characterized by recurrent depressive episodes that occur annually at the same time each year. A subtype of major depressive disorder (MDD). Not the same as, but contains elements of depression, anhedonia, and dysthymia.
