Ringxiety

GLOSSARY

A portmanteau of ‘ring’ and ‘anxiety’; refers to the phantom feeling of a phone call in one’s pocket. Ringxiety is also known as “phantom vibration syndrome”. Some shame and embarrassment may be elicited upon checking one’s phone and realizing it was a false alarm.
