Nonverbal Communication
GLOSSARY
Certain non-language behaviors, such as voice quality (paralanguage), body motion, touch, and use of personal space (proxemics), that appear to play a prominent role in communication. Communication and interpretation of information by any means other than language. Includes communication through any behavioural or expressive channel of communication such as facial expression, bodily movements, vocal tone and pitch, and many other channels.
